For You Lord
Oh Lord, you are so great,
So kind in many way;
You know what is in our heart,
In the passing of every day.
You forgive us our sins,
Though we do it again and again:
Even when we try our hardest,
It falls short of the best.
If it wasn't for you Lord,
We would never find our way.
For you lead us along the pathway,
Of the Kingdom Of Heaven.
I Try To Understand
I see the stars in your eyes
And laughter upon your lips,
But beneath this lies
A sadness that sometimes slips.
I watch as you try to cover it up
And my heart it breaks for you.
How can I tell you of the loving cup,
That holds me near to you.
You laugh, when you should cry,
When things they hurt so much.
Darling, don't try to live a lie,
Don't cover your feeling as much.
For people who love you
Will always try to understand.
Just as I'll always try to do,
I'll try to understand.
So let your feelings show my love
And let your teardrops fall.
For the pain will cease my love,
With summer, spring and fall.
Witch's Brew
A witch's brew
Is in the air:
From off the dew
On a day so fair.
Could it be, as I do fear?
That this witch's brew
Can draw me near,
To the one I greatly fear.
I feel like flying in the air.
With some small drink,
Of this tasty brew,
All worries out the window flew.
