Lovelock Annual Fireworks Show
Friday — 7/4/03
Community fireworks display is free to the public. The display is funded by local
businesses and the community. The Lovelock Volunteer Fire Department members
set up and execute the presentation each year.

Pershing County / Central Area 4-H Camp
Sunday - Saturday — 7/13/03 - 7/19/03
Fifty youth, teens and adults from Pershing County spend a week at the 4-H
camp,
learning, playing and just having fun. Designed for youth from 9-13
years old. Fee $175.00

Lovelock's 35th Annual Frontier Days
Friday, Saturday and Sunday — 7/25-7/27/03
Frontier Days is an old-fashioned community celebration. The weekend
traditionally
begins with a street dance in front of the Courthouse on Friday
night. The park is
filled with booths selling everything from hamburgers
to fine jewelry. Sporting contests -
like the decathalon, children's games, arm
wrestling, rock drilling and the Poop/Flop/Drop
contest to name a few, offers a
fun-filled weekend for everyone. Frontier Days is sponsored
by the Pershing County Chamber of Commerce.

Steel Pistol Shoot 2003
Saturday and Sunday — 7/26 & 7/27/03
This Steel Pistol Shoot 2003 in Winnemucca, NV is the sixth in this season's
series of competitive shoots. Steel Shooters Classes consist of Highest to the
Lowest : Unlimited Class, Master Class, A Class, B Class and C Class. Students
are allowed to shoot, as long as they are accompanied by their parent/parents.
