Pershing County Arts Council sponsors a Lively Musical Program
Thursday — 2/6/03
Violin virtuoso Kim Angelis joins with her husband, flamenco and classical
guitarist Josef Gault, to present a lively program of passionate gypsy tunes,
dances and music. They are often heard on National Public Radio and seen
on PBS, and are described as dreamy, fiery, vibrant and full of fun.
At-the-door ticket prices: adults, $9.00; seniors and students: $5.00.

Steel Pistol Shoot 2003
Saturday and Sunday — 3/22 & 3/23/03
This Steel Pistol Shoot 2003 in Fernley, NV is the first in this season's series
of competitive shoots. Steel Shooters Classes consist of Highest to the Lowest :
Unlimited Class, Master Class, A Class, B Class and C Class. Students are allowed
to shoot, as long as they are accompanied by their parent/parents.

Pershing County ATV Safety Training - Open to the Public
Saturday — 3/22/03
A certified ATV Safety Instructor will be teaching riding safety in three
class levels: 9 a.m. for beginning youth riders, 1 p.m. for experienced
youth riders, 4 p.m. for police, sheriff, search & rescue. The public is
invited to view exhibits and watch the fun. A mechanic will be on hand to
check ATV's. Participants must pre-register for the class (no fee).
Program sponsored by a 4-H grant; in cooperation with the Pershing County
Sheriff, Lovelock Police, Search & Rescue.
