Come and Worship

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
The Church of the Good Shepherd invites you to worship the Lord Jesus Christ with us. Our fellowship is non-denominational and we welcome all to come and worship with us. We gather for worship each Sunday morning at 11:30, and we gather for evening prayer each Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
On the third Sunday of each month (beginning May 21st) the local chapter of Cowboys for Christ meet at 3 p.m. at the church. We go on a trail ride that includes a potluck BBQ, Bible study and singing to guitar music before heading back to the church. This is a BYOH event. (Bring Your Own Horse.)
For those who wish to be married by the Pastor of the Church of the Good Shepherd, first of all - congratulations! I will be happy to perform your wedding at no cost to you. (Unless you wish to be married on horseback - the horses will cost a total of $20.00.)
I consider it my privilege to give you a start in your life together. If you feel that you must make a donation of some kind, consider this - you may take some non-perishable food items to the county clerk's office and give them to Janice. If she is not there, just tell one of the fine ladies who work there that this is food for the food bank and they will take care of it.
Please do not offer me payment of any kind; helping you to have a nice wedding is my reward. Please give me a call at 775-578-7570 to arrange your wedding. I'm usually here, except on Wednesdays - I'm usually not available until after noon. You may choose to get married here at the church or I will come to Lovelock. God bless you.
