    Pre-registration for the parade is encouraged in order to facilitate the line-up process for entrants. A form will be offered for download as soon as it is received.

    Traditionally the parade is on Saturday, Frontier Days weekend. The are 9 divisions and a "Best Overall" of the 9. The divisions are: Business, Organizational, Marching, Mounted, Horse-drawn, Emergency Vehicle, Antique, Vehicle, Antique; Farm Equipment, and a Special Division that covers miscellaneous entries.

    Parade line-up begins at the Marzen House Museum, at the west end of town, at 8:30 a.m. The parade starts at 10 a.m. It follows Dartmouth Ave. - west to east. There is no entry fee and all are encouraged to participate. Floats and parade entries are judged as they traverse the route, then plaques and ribbons are awarded in the park immediately following the event.

    Spectators returning to the Courthouse Park can participate in or watch the various contests and games, eat lunch or just sit in the shade with an ice cold beverage.
