- Peter Kaššák is a Slovakian author and long-time friend and researcher of the 464th BG.
Peter has shared information with our website for a number of years, now. Peter's latest
project is a book entitled "A One Crew War." The book follows three 464th crewman from
basic training, stateside, to final mission.

- Nelson, Shrontz and Wright's "The First Fifty Years" is a comprehensive and
delightful history of Pocatello Air Base from 1942-1992. It includes information about the
Groups that trained there prior to deployment during WWII - including the 464th BG.

- Sharon is a poet and an author. Read her poem and
about her newly-released book Final Mission.

Ray Ward
Ray is a member of the Cornell University "War Class of '43" where
he trained in infantry tactics, later to serve in the USAAF, the subject of this five-star
rated book Those Brave Crews.
He is a life member of the Association of Graduates United States Air Force Academy.
Ward is listed as a pioneer helicopter pilot, prior to the end of hostilities having flown
the first model Army helicopter, the R-4, displayed at the USAF Museum, Wright-Patterson
AFB.
