Szombathely Cathedral Bells Sound Recording

The bells of the cathedral Sarlós Boldogasszony (The Visitation of the Blessed
Virgin Mary to Elizabeth) are rung on the anniversary of the Bombing of March 4th 1945 every year.
The soundtrack, below, was recorded on the 65th Anniversary (2010) at the
front of the cathedral, and was provided by Mária Vértesi Horváth of Szombathely. By
clicking on the link, below, a .wma file will open in the Windows Media Player or other compatible audio
player. The original sound recording is approximately 3 minutes in length and was edited down to reduce
the size of the file.

Az 1945. március negyedikei bombázás évfordulóján
minden évben megszólalnak a Sarlós Boldogasszony Székesegyház
harangjai. A mellékelt hangfelvételt Horváthné, Vértesi Mária szombathelyi
lakós készitette a Székesegyház bombázásának
65. évfordulóján (2010). Az alábbi linkre való kattintás kinyitja a

programmal. Az eredeti három perces hangfelvételt leröviditettük, hogy a fájl
